TRE^® is an easy to learn, effective technique that promotes inner peace and well-being and increases resilience to life’s inevitable stress and trauma.

TRE^® Global Certification Training (GCTP) is suitable for anyone wanting to train in a body-based, self-empowering technique that supports people improve their health and quality of life.

Module 1 is also open to those wanting to learn TRE^® for their own personal healing exploration.

Created by Dr. David Berceli TRE^® is a simple technique that deliberately activates the body’s instinctive tremor mechanism in a safe and controlled way. Once activated, these therapeutic tremors help to release the build up of stress and tension that accumulate in the body from stressful or traumatic life experiences.

The internationally accredited TRE^® Global Certification Training Programme is a rich experiential process that qualifies you to teach TRE^® with others confidently and competently.

TRE^® can easily be integrated into existing professions such as psychology, social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, counselling, coaching, and medicine, to name a few.

TRE^® is effective as a stand-alone practice and also enhances other stress relief practices, such as mindfulness, yoga, and meditation.

MODULE 1 (GCTP) AND 2-DAY WORKSHOP FOR PERSONAL USE

There are three groups of people who can attend Module 1 (2-day workshop):

1. PERSONAL USE:

• Those who are attending to learn TRE® for their own personal use and have no intention of teaching TRE® to others and therefore no interest in continuing with the TRE® Certification Training Programme.
• You will learn about the basics of the theory related to TRE®, how to activate and regulate the TRE® process and will most likely be able to continue with a successful personal practice of TRE® that can support your health and well-being for the rest of your life.

2. NOT SURE:

• Those who are not sure and who will decide about continuing with the TRE® Certification Training after the completion of this initial 2 day workshop.
• Please note: After attending the two-day Module 1 training/workshop you do not have the competency or qualifications to teach TRE® to ANYONE.
• If at any point you become interested in teaching TRE® to others you will need to enrol in the Global Certification Training Programme and complete the entire certification programme to develop the required skills and competencies to become a fully certified TRE® Provider.

3. CERTIFICATION TRAINING PROCESS TO TEACH TRE® (GCTP):

• Those who intend to become a certified TRE® Provider so that they are qualified to teach TRE® to individuals and to groups.
• The Global Certification Training Programme (GCTP) consists of three, two-day modules, which takes place over a period of about 12 months. A supervision process follows each Module.
• The length of the training period will be dependent on each person’s personal progress.

Additional sessions or assignments may be added at the Certification Trainer’s discretion to achieve competency at an extra fee.

PRE-REQUISITES TO ENROLMENT:

• You must have experienced TRE® in the 6 months prior to application. The ideal is to have attended a 6 week TRE® newcomer’s programme or at the very least a TRE® Introductory session.
• If you haven’t experienced TRE®, please contact us to attend one of the regular TRE® Introductory workshops or individual sessions.
• As this is an intensive experiential training programme a pre-training interview is necessary to ascertain if this training is suitable for you at this time.
• Completion of the application form (this will be emailed to you)
• There are no other specific requirements.

TRAINING INCLUDES:

• Internationally accredited certification

  • HPCSA – total of 36 points for 2017. (awaiting finalization for 2018)
  • Allied Health Professions Council – total of 20 points in a cycle

FEES 2018:

2-DAY TRAINING WORKSHOP  – MODULE 1 (PERSONAL USE ONLY)

• R 1,500.00 non refundable deposit payable on booking
• R 1,750.00 payable three weeks prior to commencement of training

GLOBAL CERTIFICATION TRAINIING PROGRAMME (GCTP)

PRE-TRAINING INTERVIEW:        Cost:  R475.00

A 45-minute pre-training interview is required to determine if this is the right time for you to do the certification training.

ENROLMENT FEE: A once off payment of $15.00 needs to be paid to TRE® for ALL via PayPal prior to the commencement of the certification training.
The procedure for this process will be emailed to you once you have completed the application form, attended the pre-training interview and paid the deposit for the certification-training programme (GCTP).

THERE ARE THREE PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR GCTP:

1.EARLY BIRD FEE:  R 21,500.00

• R 2,000.00 non-refundable deposit on booking
• Balance of R 19,500.00 due 10 weeks prior to the commencement of the training.

2.R 22,500.00: If you have missed the early bird option

• R 2,000.00 non-refundable deposit on booking
• Balance ofR 20,500.00 due 3 weeks prior to the commencement of the training.
• After this period the fee of R 23,500.00 applies.

3.PAYMENT PLAN:R 23,500.00 broken down as follows

• R 2,000.00 non-refundable deposit payable on booking
• R 5,500.00 payable three weeks prior to the start of the training
• The balance of R 16,000.00 to be paid in 10 equal monthly instalments of R 1,600.00 payable on the 1^st day of each month.

BURSARIES FOR GCTP:

A limited number of partial bursaries are available to suitable candidates on each Certification-Training Programme intake.

PLEASE NOTE: Preference will be given to people who are unable to afford the full cost of the training and who are already working in an NGO/Organization where TRE® will be provided on an ongoing basis to marginalized communities.
